Hi Everyone,
I justed wanted to let you know about a great idea for your classroom or your blog. Each month create a new crazy calendar of information for your students. Post the calendar in your classroom or on your blog. The calendar contains information of crazy holidays or information on what happened on that day in history. You can go to http://library.thinkquest.org/ or http://www.thisdaythatyear.com/ These are great sites that list a bunch of information by month, date and year. You would be surprised at how many crazy holidays are out there. Check it out!
Everyone have a great week!

A Story about Making Things Right!
Hi Everyone,
I thought I would post a story that was written, illustrated and narrated by
Miss Dalrymple's second grade class. They were very excited to see their
pictures and hear a familiar voice in a video. Imagine what you can do with

Resources, Resources and more Resources!!!
Hi Everyone,
I have some more great sites to post this week. Another one of my favorite authors is Patricia Polacco. She has written some great books. Two of my favorites are Pink and Say and Chicken Sunday. Check out her website at http://www.patriciapolacco.com/ Another great site is http://www.surfnetkids.com/ There is plenty of information on this site. They offer everything from audio books, coloring pages and games to supplies, topics, and crafts as well as additional links. Now for some really helpful resources.....check out http://www.rubistar.4teachers.org/ This is a great teacher website that offers "free" rubrics. You can look through their library or make your own. What I love most about the site is you can store your rubric and reuse it or edit and modify it for later use. Can't remember what rubric you used last year for a descriptive writing assignment? Register Now.....it's free! If anyone out there has some great websites, I would love to look at them. There is so much out there, we just have to know where to go. Thanks to so many teachers who love to share, you can find just about anything.
Everyone have a great week!
